In view of the severe situation of the COVID-19 pandemic with increasing proportion of local confirmed cases with unknown sources of infection, and to tie in with the further tightened control measures implemented by the Government to drastically reduce the flow of people and social contacts, the Employees Retraining Board (ERB) announces that starting from 15 December 2020, training will be conducted in online mode only and there are over 300 online training courses currently in offer.  Classroom training arrangements of all ERB courses including courses under the “Love Upgrading Special Scheme 2”, skills assessment service of training courses and trainee activities will be temporarily suspended until further notice.  Training bodies have started notifying the trainees concerned.
