Programme Features:
  • Prepare students to take the examinations of certain certificate courses offered by Specialty Coffee Association (SCA). Those who pass the examinations will be awarded the following certificates presented by SCA:
    – SCA Certificate in Introduction to Coffee
    – SCA Certificate in Barista Skills (Foundation) or SCA Certificate in Brewing (Foundation)
  • Increase employability of students
  • Allow students to connect with industry professionals
  • The programme has been recognized by the University of Sunderland in Hong Kong(UK)
  • Participants who complete the “Professional Diploma in Coffee Skills” and meet the course requirements will be awarded “Certificate of Completion” by COC and the University of Sunderland in Hong Kong(UK)
  • Students may also apply for the modules individually which costs HK$3,200 each

  • Equip students with professional knowledge in coffee skills, food hygiene and safety, customer service skills and related knowledge to enhance their work potential and competencies
  • Provide professional knowledge of specialty coffee for students who wish to pursue in professional coffee career
  • Discover new opportunities and industry insights by reaching industry professionals
